Our herbal range has been formulated with help from Dr
Barbara Fougere, an Australian veterinary herbalist. We asked Dr Fougere for some general supplements that would boost the health of compromised pets. This is a formulation that she would use in pets with Arthritis as an adjunct to veterinary care.
Why use a herbal approach when there are established, effective treatments for so many veterinary conditions?
Conventional treatments are both safe and effective, they should be used. For chronic conditions, unfortunately conventional medicine may not be working, may be taking a lot out of your pet or your pet may receive further benefits from additional supplementation. Also with many long term conditions, it is beneficial to control the condition using a more natural approach based on scientific research.
Many medicines were derived from plant extracts and therefore it makes sense that those same extracts can help in a purer form. Herbal products help without the risk of so many side effects.
